Coming to the area? Make Smokey’s Hideaway your base camp. Conveniently located beside I-64 just minutes off exit 29 in the beautiful Alleghany Highlands at the southern most tip of the Shenandoah Valley.

This cozy, family-owned camp offers one campervan double campsite with access to 30amp electric RV hookup (50feet away), one rustic car camping site with no tent space, and 4 other campervan sites with rustic tent campsites. Providing a great balance between primitive and comfortable, We offer a non-flush unisex toilet and county furnished potable water. We do not have a shower facility. Every campsite is equipped with a picnic table and fire ring to make your stay easy and enjoyable. Need firewood for your stay? We offer $5 bundles onsite for purchase (while supplies last). There is a QR code posted on the information board at the campground to use for firewood payment.
